Executive Team

H.M.S. Pinafore 2020-2021

Michael Quinsey

Michael is a U3 McGill student studying English Literature and Computer Science from Windsor, Ontario a.k.a. that one city you can’t find on the map. He has been a part of the Savoy chorus for three years since joining their 2018 production of Iolanthe and became a part of Savoy's exec team during their subsequen run of Ruddigore. When he doesn’t have his nose buried in a book or a keyboard Michael has fun running around the mountain, watching Jeopardy!, and being a very mediocre chef.

Alice Wu

Vice President

Alice Wu (she/her) is a U2 student studying English Literature, management, and French. She had a blast being a chorus girl and the little MAL for The Gondoliers, and she’s excited for more Savoy adventures! When she’s not studying or doing theatre, you can probably find her scribbling down stories, baking, or searching for a great new fantasy book.

Eden Augustine

Eden (she/her) is a third-year Physics and Computer Science student at McGill University. She has performed in the last two McGill Savoy Society productions, Ruddigore and The Gondoliers, as well as in its 2019 “Certainly Not Sullivan Cabaret.” Outside of Savoy, she has performed in such shows as The Drowsy Chaperone, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Importance of Being Earnest. As well, Eden is a graduate of the Tap City Youth Ensemble (TCYE) at the American Tap Dance Foundation. With TCYE, she has danced on such stages as New York’s City Center and the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

Arthur Anderson

Arthur Anderson is a second-year Linguistics major at McGill and Treasurer of the McGill Savoy Society. He played Don Alhambra in the Savoy’s most recent production of The Gondoliers and he was Sir Roderic in its production of Ruddigore last year. He is very excited for his first year in an executive role at Savoy.

Matthew Erskine

Cast Member at Large (MAL)

Matthew G. S. Erskine is a third-year Political Science student born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Although his dramatic career started the moment he was born, his onstage career started when he was six years old, when he played one of the small, little piggies in Three Little Piggies. Having had the incredible fortune to be the lead in consecutive Savoy productions, Matthew is excited to return next year as Member-At-Large - your best friend! Matching his ability to be dramatic is his ability to listen, so do not hesitate to talk to this executive!
